design ideas
Since our targeted audience are kids between 6-8 years, old we decided that we want to make it as simple as possible so that they will be able to understand the game. We chose  squirrels because we think that kids like squirrels. They are cute and is something that they are able to see in their everyday lives.
Pre-Board designs
At first we made a sketch of our game board in a piece of paper. We didn't want our board game to be too long because we were told that we'll have short amount of time to present our games. Therefore the game was designed short enough so that everyone will have a chance to play.
Individual work
Although most of the planning and designing were done as a team there are so some stuff that I did individually.
I did a poster that represents our team and the general overview of our game and process for the class to see before we start our final version of our game.

I 3D printed the squirrel pieces that players will be using when they are playing the game.
Which later I oil painted it so that it will look more pleasing.
Action Cards!
We decided to make some simple action cards our games to make it more interesting. All the cards where hand drawn by hand and then scan it to a computer to be hard copied at a Fedex. It included some fun facts about squirrels in these cards, hoping that our audience could learn something while playing our games.
Final Product
In the end we send all our designs to Fedex and cut out all the cards. We also made some large adjustments to our posters so that it looks more appealing as well as adding new information that wasn't on the poster after we added new cards..
